Hiking - Descent into Masca-Canyon / Barranco de Masca
Description:
One of Tenerife’s hiking highlights through the impassable and deep gorge of Barranco de Masca! Starting at Masca, a picturesque mountain village, we descend by 600 m passing by terraces with amazing views, varied vegetation and fascinating rock formations. After the descent and an active hike our vessel back to Los Gigantes awaits us at the romantic beach.

The Dolphin-Photo-Safari within the Masca-Exclusive-Trip (on Sundays) rounds this hiking trip off.

Itinerary:
Masca – Masca bay - Los Gigantes

Character:
Moderate hike: narrow (goat) path, partly loose underground with rock climbing sections that require balance and steady steps – 6 km, 600 m of altitude difference, just descent – approximately 8 hrs (4-hour-hike)
